MYSTERIOUS YOU
The dark you faded to
so deep and drowning,
The voice in you
so faint and fumbling.
The place you've gone to,
I try to get there.
Remain stuck on the threshold
my feet tremble dear.
I try to feel you,
Try to sense you
with a deep breath of fresh air,
Silence I seek sometime
and silence I recline to,
Yet in it thunders,
roars howls, and wails a piercing cry.
Walking on those trails
you once did,
Searching your footsteps,
Plotting and tracing out the contours
vivid it seems but mirage it turns out.
