You keep me to myself

Your cheerful face in full bloom
 soaks all my displeasure
bleaching out all the frustrations and the fumes.
Your caressing fingers balm my head,
bruised and scarred by the unrelenting blows
of fear, anxiety and apprehension.
Your soothing tone to treat my dissatisfaction and grumbles
 rings me awake to life.
A perpetual ore of kindness and courage
you are a few of those who'd rather matter than mind,
You fill my heart with nectar of joy and joviality,
You make me relive my dreams
through the drafts of thwarts and threats,
You keep my shape whenever I am about to melt,
keep the fire burning even it always seems to douse,
You keep me to myself.
