Ephemeral Glow
Radiance before me;
not so bright
but lightning it is,
still and stationary
mannequin resemblance
eyes lockdown like ever.
Ephemeral glow lasted mere minutes
substituent a drab successor
same configuration but contrasting nature
Give a minute
Do you think a speck of light an ointment, a beacon of hope, a welcome guest evermore, a solace, repose ? But have you bothered a minute in the dark ? Do you feel the soothing silence ? An elusive serenity amidst mania that is life Yes, right there. Can you spare a moment with yourself ? If you can you will spot subtlety in macrocosm deep beneath the mantle, meet you from you(s).
